SunSet
Truckers was
founded back in 1977 by a handful of guy's and gal's who
had two common interests; cool custom trucks and spending
time with friends. They started out of Whittier CA and
began going to truck shows up and down the West Coast.
Then people started to join the club, sharing the same
interests. Before they knew it, that group who started
out in Whittier became a big group that branched out to
Chino, High Desert and sunny San Diego.
San
Diego's Chapter was started in 1998, There's a lot of
history with this group and we are rollin strong. So if
you want to join one of San Diego's biggest custom truck
families, look no farther...

Steps
to becoming a member:
1.
Make contact with our Secretary and petition to join.
Then you have 90 days to
attend as many club functions or shows as you can, this
is your evaluation stage.
2.
Have at least 3 exterior modifications done to your vehicle.
-Modified
Suspension - Lowered or Lifted (Club discretion
on how low or high), Air Bags or Hydraulic.
-Custom
Wheels - Aftermarket wheels. (Stock
wheels from another vehicle is not custom)
-Body
Modifications - Any permanent modifications to
the exterior of the vehicle that alters it from stock.
-Custom
Paint - Graphics,
two-tone, candy, metallic or flake, pin striping, etc.
3.
Once everything is complete, The club votes you in or
out. Remember, we are a tight group of friends and a show
quality truck doesn't insure that you get in. But it helps!
Also,
you dont have to be a member to hang out with us, if your
close but not quite there yet with your vehicle but still
want to hang out with people who share the same passion,
cruise out to our meetings or catch us on the weekends!
